H2O.ai Flood Intelligence provides real-time, scalable intelligence for AI-powered disaster management.

The H2O.ai Flood Intelligence blueprint integrates and extends the NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit with H2O.ai’s Enterprise GPTe platform to deliver real-time flood forecasting, risk assessment, and emergency response automation.

This blueprint demonstrates how multi-agent AI workflows combined with authoritative hydrological and meteorological data sources can provide governments, utilities, insurers, and emergency managers with actionable intelligence for disaster preparedness. The system is designed for enterprise and sovereign deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance for mission-critical use cases.

What’s Included in the Blueprint

NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit Integration

The blueprint leverages NeMo Agent Toolkit to orchestrate multi-agent workflows for flood prediction and risk management.

  • Risk Analyzer Agent: * Calculates flood risk scores, analyzes trends, and evaluates weather impacts using LLM-powered reasoning.
  • Predictive Intelligence Agent: * Performs ensemble-based flood forecasting from 1-hour to 7-day horizons.
  • Emergency Coordinator Agent: Automates alerts, evacuation planning, and resource allocation.

The integration highlights four key areas:

  • Workflows are YAML-configured using React Agent patterns with NVIDIA NIM microservices (e.g., Llama-3.1-Nemotron-70B-Instruct).

H2O.ai Enterprise GPTe Integration

h2o GPTe provides enterprise-grade generative AI capabilities with sovereign deployment options.

  • Agentic AI: Complex reasoning and automation via multi-agent orchestration
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Grounded analysis from private flood datasets
  • Document AI: Schema-driven JSON generation for compliance and auditability
  • Dynamic Model Routing: Optimizes for accuracy, latency, and cost across multiple LLMs
  • Streaming & Async Inference: Real-time interactive analysis for monitoring dashboards

Minimum System Requirements

The solution leverages NVIDIA's cloud-based API Catalog endpoints, eliminating the need for local GPU hardware. All model inference is performed on NVIDIA's cloud infrastructure.

To run NVIDIA Nemotron 49B locally, a single GPU such as NVIDIA Ampere or NVIDIA Hopper is recommended.
